And then 2nd best is LocationIQ and 3rd one is MapQuest and so on.So the the sequence you have to set will be : 1st Tom Tom, 2nd LocationIQ, 4rd MapQuest, 5th as Google, and so on.In this case, "Tom Tom" will be called 1st.Next Map Company (LocationIQ) will be called if, "Tom Tom" doesnt have proper data.
We have given control to Administrator to choose the Map's API Sequence so they can always use cheapest maps 1st and save good money on API's. So if at any time, your preferred Map Company increases it's API costs, simply change it's Priority Sequence from Admin Panel and keep cheapest/best on the top.This algorithm is developed to save App Owner's money. Please note that Google Maps API's are very expensive compared to other Map Companies API's. And they are continously increasing their charges which makes App owners difficult to make profit.This way your Map's API expense will be much lower compared to using API's ONLY from Google.
If no better option is found in terms of cost & data, Google API's will be preferred.This way your Map's API expense will be less than 50% when compared to using API's only from Google.
